Anyone shooting a DART League? Do you have any tips or tricks to increase your scores?

I just wanted to start a conversation about the DART system - I've had a blast shooting a league using it. The bear CD was my worst shot series. How about animal blocking - gotta watch out for that. Or are the point zones good shots? Seems like sometimes your shooting right into the shoulder...

Shoot a one pin sight (unless you are using that yardage program), a sight light is a big help, and a peep sight alternative to me is key.....something like a Timberline No-peep. Since you are in the dark, clear view of the target and clear bright pins are vital.

The worst CD I shot was the pigs. That was ridiculous. The lil buggers just wouldn't stand still long enough.

Oh, and one shop around me has a turkey shoot each spring to get everyone fired up for spring gobblers. Head only shots. Talk about taking the wind out of your sails.

i shoot every winter in local dart league it's a blast. they make u make some bad shots though. Alota the time they want you to take a shoulder shot which is a big NO NO on real game. It keeps you sharp though and gives me something to do over the winter months. The Wild pig CD is deff the hardest by far them lil suckers dont stand still at all. They have some fun CD's that let u shoot game u probably wont ever hunt it's a real blast. can't wait for league to start up. Only about 2 wks left till it does. Have fun!

I'd have to say that turkey heads is the hardest CD. For one the target is the size of a silver dollar on the screen and they dont stop pecking around for a sec. I was proud that night and I think I shot a 82 or there abouts.
