Bow hunting Mag

Eastmans Bowhunting Journal is by far my favorite! All the articles are sent in and written by average joe hunters like you and me. The hunts take place on public land, not some fenced in ranch hunt. I also like others like Petersons Bowhunting and Bowhunter, but only for their equipment reviews not their hunting stories. I hate it when some cocky paid editor hunts some give me hunt and thinks they are the king of the world and the GREATEST WHITE HUNTER[:'(].

Bowhunter, Bowhunting World, Petersen's Bowhunting, Bow and Arrow, Bowhunt America and Eastman's Bowhunting Journal. I subscribe to all of them and tend to like Bowhunting World a little better than the rest. Eastman's is more hunting experience's of bowhunters and little technical and it focuses on hunting in the western US. It is a good read because it focuses on the hunt.

I rarely buy them anymore. Many of the technical articles are swayed toward the companies who advertise, but that should be expected.[&:] I did like Deer and Deer Hunting but their strong push for leasing made me quit. But thats just me.
