Fieldmouse, you are just a wimp! Just kidding, just kidding, I myself am left handed but have learned to shoot right handed. A few years ago when my eyesight was 20/15, or 15/20 which ever it is, I was left eyed dominant, but now my eyesight is 20/20 and I am right eyed dominant. The eye doctor said that maybe I didn't have a dominance at all, but I'm not sure if I believe it. Anyway I can shoot both ways O.K., but I am stronger with my left and more accurate. But, I have had several 3-D shooters tell me that with time I would be even more accurate with my right hand, because I am right eyed dominant.

Mine's at 63# and I got it back left-handed ok, but it's tougher. It's like you have to muscle it back instead of just drawing it.

The weird thing is that the draw length felt too short. ?? [&:]

I can get it back but think it would be much easier with a left handed bow. 30 ATA they really cram stuff on the bow and cable guard/ cable make it hard to grip the bow to pull it back.

I agree with buckeye. I damn near killed myself letting it down.

I agree with some of the others. Getting it back was not all that bad but letting it down? Felt like my arm was being shot out of a out of a giant slingshoot.

I actually hunted for about 8 years left handed before I figured out I was right eye dominant and 4 more because I didn't feel comfortable switching. I started out using my brothers lefty bow and that felt natural when it was time for me to get one. Me and my dad were self-taught so I didn't know any better until I shot a deer when I was 17 and became addicted and started reading everything about bow hunting I could get my hands on. I still don't know how I put a double lunger on that deer, arrows from a store that had archery supplies (not cut to size), broadheads that looked neat, no paper tune, no helical, no practice with broadheads (didn't want to dull them), a TM hunter style rest that was crammed all the way into the riser because it wasn't a center shot bow. I went through three lefty bows before I finally brought a right handed one. It was weird shooting at first, but about summer time it felt pretty comfortable so I gave my lefty bow away and have shot righty ever since.

I do everything left handed (write-slingshot-golf-cast-bat-throw) BUT I shoot a Bow (starting 49 years now) right handed soooo, I can pull MORE left handed. My brother is right handed in everything and he shoots LEFT handed. Go figure...
Wonder if we could do better the other way-we have both taken many biggame animals & won major(state) tournaments (in our day).
