A deer would pick you out up in a tree faster than it can pick out some white arrows. As davidmil once said, "The deer won't see you unless you wave it around like a white flag."

I heard that deer are color blind and the only see the difference in contrast and movement. Their main defense is their sense of smell which is only second to that of a dog. Like I said, this is what I have heard and I do not know this is fact. However, their a many hunters who use white fletchings.

deer won't see you any more with white arrows than with camo arrows. when I bow hunt in rifle season I have to wear white or orange(I wear white) and I hunt from the ground and have had deer within ten yards of me and didn't know I was there. unless you move or don't have any cover behind/front of you to help break you up they won't see you or your white arrows.

I agree. If they see you while your stalking, it's not because of the color of your arrows, it's because you're moving. Period. The same way they bust you up in the tree in your full camo and you move. They just see movement extremely well.
