Finally got my first Bow Kill Yesterday!!!!
Yesterday made a perfect slightly quartering away shot. FINALLY this is only my 2nd deer. It was a button buck. And I know that some people are going to grouch about it being a little deer but I don't care it was my first with my bow and im happy

It dosent matter what anyone else thinks Trapper hunter, the important thing is that you are happy. You have many more seasons to be more selective. Great job and congrats on your 1st of many bow kills!

yea I know. Now I wis h I could hunt more but since we can tag a button buck as a doe, I am tagged out. The most exciting part was I got to watch him fall. The shot was at around 10 yards plus or minus a yard. It took me like 5 times to draw my bow back cuz they were so close and everytime that button would put his head down his momma REAL BIG DOE would put hers down. If you are woundering why I didn't shoot the doe it was getting late and she stayed behind a tree and if I waited for her to get out It would been dark. I prolly could of shot her but it woudn't of been a good shot.

I prolly could of shot her but it woudn't of been a good shot.

I would prefer to end the season with out taking a shot over loosing a deer due to a poor shot choice.
