Default Garmin Legend GPS?

Anyone have a Garmin Legend GPS? I would like your opinion on it. Basically going to use it hunting on public land. During the scouting season, I find a good area and a great tree (Climber friendly) I want to set a waypoint(?) so I can find it later. After 3 days of searching GPS units, this seems to have the stuff I want at the price I can afford but would like opinions from users. Thanks.

My dad bought one about two weeks ago, but I haven't been able to get to use it much yet [&:]

From the research that I've done and people I've talked to though it seems to be a good GPS for the money. I do know however that you can save a waypoint and later on use the GPS to find your way back.

Sorry I can't be more help to you at this time.[&o]

they are awesome. If you want to mark waypoints this is the best one. very user friendly... The only downfall is that it doesn't have roads programed into it. but if you are just using it for hunting public land that is the one you want.

This is the only GPS I've ever owned but believe me if I can use this thing it is very user friendly. I use it strictly for what you are wanting to do with it and it does a very good job.

You cannot go wrong with the unit. Garmin stands behind their products because they know they are the best. The legend is very user friendly, and built with quality and durability. Good Luck.

The Legend is a good model to have. It has the map download capability, plenty memory and bells and whistles.
