I would tell you to start with a rifle and then move up to bow i been hunting for deer for 2 years know got 3 deer's with a rifle and just really started to use my bow too hunt with this year and i got 3 shots at a deers but no hits yeat . i got a new /used bow from a friend andwill try with it for the last two weekend of bow season but if i don't get anything it was still a great season i think .It's just up too you
