Default My new bow!!

Hi guys,

I finally got my first compound bow for christmas!!! I made a target in my basement out of a bale of hay and the bow works great. It's made by Fred Bear, and it has a 30-40 pound adjustable draw-weight. It's not the best bow out there but I'm only 13 and just starting to learn so it'll do till I get better.

Good for you Impossible. Practice hard if it gets boring shoot attach balloons to your bale and bust them up. Anything to keep you shooting. You are probably ahead of the curve starting so young so keep at it and you'll be great!

Always be safe and be sure to only shoot arrows that your pro shop suggests for your bow. Serious damage to life and bow can result from shooting "toy" arrows or arrows not rated for your bow. 30-40 lb bows can take deer and other game and thus can be very bad for people too.

Sorry to preach but once that arrow leaves the bow nothing brings it back! I'm sure you know these things! So have fun.

And the first arrow you put through the furnace in the basement, your folks might overlook, but the second one you'll be in big trouble!

Congratulations and may your arrows fly straight and your pins line up with the target.
