Im getting a Cuddeback for christmas and I think it is one of the better cameras out there for the money and for quality and battery life. Ive also heard good things about the Leaf River but dont know as much about them.

I have 2 Leaf River trail cams, and I think they're great. I only had a couple pics ever turn out bad, but that was before I put Rain-X on the lenses of the housing. If you go with Leaf River, I think you'd be very happy with one.

I have the digital Leaf River on the way. I did some research on the L.R. and Cuddeback and the selling points for the L.R. is the viewable screen and the price. The L.R. can be bought for $300 on ebay and the Cuddeback is about $50 more. Picture quality seems about the same from what I gathered.

I've tried the Stealth 3MP model (hated it), the Cuddeback (decent), and a Leaf River. They first 2 cams have since been returned or exchanged for more Leaf Rivers. They are a better quality cam. From battery life, image quality, number of images actually captured and centered, the LCD screen, even controals and access to them is ALL better with the Leaf River. Compare the features of the LR with the other cams and see for yourself?
