I haven't seen anything from the new line, but that Tomkat is definitely interesting. The 9 1/8" brace height with 31" axle to axle; I need to find one of these to see how it shoots. I wonder what its going to cost because it seems like Bowtech is trying to enter the entry level / economy market segment with and outstanding piece of equipment.

The 05 Tomkat will be 32 1/2" ATA, and have 8 1/4" brace. IBO will be around 300. MSRP is $499. for the package.

I am keeping an eye on those new Diamonds. Each one them appeals to me but I think it will be one of the less expensive models that eventually gets taken out for next hunting season.

Default Tomkat - NICE deal....

This is the ONLY "package" bow that my pro shop sells. That's because it comes with good accessories - not top of the line but nothing "cheap" either. More than adequate for the average deer hunter. Nice shooter, too. VERY quiet and easy to shoot with that brace height. I think that 300 IBO is a bit generous (I didn't think the '04's were that quick), but it's plenty fast. I wouldn't be embarrassed to shoot one at all. If I was looking at a package deal, it'd be my choice. Great deal on a nice bow.
