I have been way too busy to keep up with this forum, unfortunately i have to sleep at night, otherwise i would. I don't know if this has been talked about at all.
I am finally getting a new bow, and going with a mathews. I stoped and looked on monday night and shot an Outback and was speachless! I shot about 6 diferent bows this past fall, and none of them excited me, but this one is unreal! I should have bought a mathews a long time ago.
The only part i didn't like is the price tag, $720! Is that good, bad, or average? I don't want to get ripped off. They said in march they will be getting some used ones in off trade-ins. They will be about 150 less. Do you think this would be a better way to go? Buying a bow that was used for 1 season for 150 less?
I was wondering when the switchback will be available? Is there a big diference between the outback and switchback? I didn't think there was much of a dif. but then i noticed there is a new cam on the switchback?? Is that right?? A new string and a new cam, and it is an inch and a half longer then the outback, with a half inch less riser height, is that right?
How much do you think the switchback will cost when it hits stores?
Thanks for the info in advance guys!

I have seen dealers in AL that will not come off MSRP and would rather loose yur business than come down on the price !
But up here in SC it's a different story..............bought my LX and Outback when they came out for $599 !

Here is my 2 cents worth. I am looking to sell my lx after when the switchback comes out if it is as big a deal as they are making it out to be. I called the bowshop I deal w/ in Prague Oklahoma (awsome people) he will tell you if it is what it is made out to be. Last year he told me he wouldn't trade my lx for the outback so I didn't, not to many dealers like that. It will be abailable in January!! He sells to people all over the world. I bought the lx last october for $ 550, he spent 1 hour w/me setting it up and paper tuning it as well. He is $ 50-150 cheaper than anyone in Oklahoma. phone # 405-567-3844

Oklahoma is too far away for me [&o],
Thats too bad, he sounds like a good guy. I wouldn't want to buy a bow If i couldn't go there for setup and everything.

720 is for the bow only.
The dealer I was at told me that it you want an outback, completely set-up, arrow included, you will probobly be looking close to $1200.
