Well guy's this is my only day off and I got up this morning and it's snowing so hard ,that I can't see squat out side. They're calling for snow all day ,the snow is wet and heavy because it's not very cold . I guess I'll be staying in and getting some beauty sleep .
This week is also the controlled hunt ,so it's just as well I stay in anyway's, Now I won't be able to get out till next Monday ,and that only leave's me another week for bow season in that area ,I still am able to hunt till the end of Dec in the next area since I almost border the boundry line .There's still some time for hunting amd anything can happen .

Do you have allot of snow already? We've only had a dusting, but there calling for snow soon!
I only have a doe tag left and as soon as we get some good snow, the deer will be gone off of the land I normally hunt. It should be pretty easy to shoot a doe but I haven't been trying real hard yet!

We've had about 6inch's of very wet snow, and it's supposed to continue throughout the day ,the temp's have been unusually warm this season. It's supposed to get colder tommorrow with more snow in the forecast . But this is a horrible day to be going anywhere .I just got back from taking the kid's to school and there are car's in ditch's everywhere ,the road's are very slippery and greasy. It's a good day to visit the forum ,and not a good day for hunting.

I AGREE WITH "ADAMS" as soon as that snow lets up deer will get up and move. i would make a good effort to be in my stand waiting. during the right time of year bucks are going to move anyway and any day in my stand is better than a day inside (with the proper clothing that is).

Unless your talking about blizzard like conditions, I'd be out hunting. I was in the same situation just this past saturday - heavy wet snow and twenty mile an hour winds and shot a nice buck with my bow at 3:30pm. I also saw lots of other deer moving midday.

Hey nubo----I hear ya bud, snowing like a bugger here to,very wet.Supposed to let up tomorrow here as well.Muzzle loader season is open this week so i'll be out in full camo and orange, law says orange vest and hat. With the temps dropping and the snow letting off I think it will be awesome to be out tomorrow early afternoon.I know i'll be,leaving work early, just have to ask the wife first
