Very much so , But to explain it is very dificult , and many pepole have diferant oppinions on it . One thing I have noticed is during the full moon phase , deer move in the midel of the day for a short time and thats about it . One of my friends says deer go into heat 5 days after the full moon , but Im not so sure on that one .

http://www.mosportsmen.com/hunting/deer/moonfacts.htm That is Horntaggers website.
Yes the moon has everything to do with deer movement, and rut. The deer that dont breed with the first rut go in heat 29 days later, the moons cycle is 29 days also, a coincidence I dont think so.
http://www.charliealsheimer.com/ca/default.htm is the website of Charles Alsheimer he has devoted more time to studing the moon and deer than anyone.

Here is a topic that will bring much controversy!

Half of the best deer biologists actually can prove that their is no scientific evidence between the full moon and the rut. The other half beleives that there is.

I've been a fisherman my whole life, and beleive that there is great evidence that fishing the full moon is awesome. But my findings over almost 4 years now have not proven anything. But, through the many different friends I have who also hunt deer, I've learned something extremely interesting. The day immediatly following the second and third full moon after the fall equinox, DEER MOVEMENT IS EXTREMELY ACTIVE. AND MANY LARGE BUCKS HAVE FALLEN ON THIS DAY! Interesting?
