From what I understand the giant Allen Co. buck is not the one in the pictures.....the buck in those pics was taken in another county. Muskegon or something like that
The Allen Co. buck that everyone is talking about to my knowledge has not been seen yet by the general public except for a few bootleg photos and witnesses at the house the night of the kill. Apparently there must be endorsement deals being hammered out and the rights to pictures etc.
A guy on Archerytalk who lives and hunts where the Giant buck was killed has said that the link to this picture you posted is not of that deer, and that the one everyone has been talking about was killed in Allen Co. by a Mr. Fowler.
I don't think anyone has seen these pics yet.........and probably won't until they show up next to an ad for "The Can" or something.

In any event it seems that 3 gigantic bucks were taken in OH so far this year.[:-]

It was a false alarm.

Pics of the buck are out (the true allan county buck in question) and it scores mid 180's.

Some one cried archery record and it wasn't even close.

Thats rumors I guess[:'(]

Matt is right the buck in your link is from muskingum county. The score is its gross non typical score. A HUGE buck but non the less not a record.
