Default Rubs Community or Loner

I was reading an article the other day and it spoke of community rubs. I had always thought that rubs were mostly solo projects. How can I distinguish between the two. the only thing I can think of is prints.

From what I've read and observed, depends on the type of rub.

Some are signpost rubs, put in an area of high traffic and may be used by several bucks.

Rublines that a buck uses year after year or even frequently during the same year will look like lots of rubs congregated in one area, but are most often made by one buck.

Other times a congregation of rubs occurs in an area without really being in a definitive line, and are usually near a bucks bedding or staging area. These areas can be used by more than one buck depending on the time of the season...
