Congratulations on a great buck - he certainly has character!
As for the deformed/damaged rack, I have seen several small bucks this year with one antler abnormal. Kinda weird. Also, seen several during the last few days which have broken one antler off...

Never saw one quite like that one before! Congrats.
Great character!
You still get 4 mass measurements though.
Example.
If the beam left is 10 inches divide it by 4 (for the spacing to take the mass measurements from.)
So then you would take a mass measurement every 2.5 inches.

A cool buck indeed Rob....CONGRATS!
I've only ever seen one buck like that in the past, and it was shot by a friend of mine. It had a big 5 on the right and a 14 inch spike on the other....coolest thing I ever saw. Unfortunately though, the taxidermist he had it at; the guy's shop burned down costing a lot of people animals that could never be replaced. A freak accident destroyed a freak headmount....how's that for coincidence???lol

Thanks everyone, it is unusual but it's also a shame he didn't match his right with his left, especially with that long brow tine on the right.
Antler Eater, I have to score him for the contest otherwise the score thing simply wouldn't matter, he's a neat buck and a 3.5 yr old so I was proud to tag him.
Rattlesnake, it's going to be tough getting four H measurements on his right, The main beam out the back is only about 3" long....I'll forfeit two H measurements.
Good luck to everyone still hunting, I'm heading out the afternoon with a friend of mine. I'll be camera man and I'm setting him up in my treestands to see what's still out there and see if I should have held out....LOL, I should have been out there this morning cause it's the coldest yet here....I bet the bucks are moving this am.....armed only with a doe tag tho.....I'll let the area rest til this pm with my friend.
