A rack like that is not super unusual down here. I think the untypical racks are the best that there is. Problem is the deer under the rack isn't the bruser that you guys up north might be thinking he is/was. Our deer might hit 150 lbs. but rarely much over that. I think there are an abundance of minerals in their normal browse that results on the antler growth.

Would I have taken him? Only if my heart didn't pop first.

" Did ya see da 30 pointer" Wow what a deer! I hope that if they did take him illegally that they are prosecuted to the fullest. It sure does make you wonder how he got injured though. Maybe when the feds take him and look him over they can tell what injured him. Well anyway thanx for the great story and the post.[&:] yep blue with envy.
