Congrats Rob. I'm glad to hear you were able to connect. Did you ever figure out what happened on the first two shots? Nerves or just a bad estimate of yardage? It just goes to show "it" on occasion happens to all of us. The key is keeping cool and sticking with it.

Thanks for sharing the entirety of your hunt and I can't wait to see pics. Congrats again!

Rob that sounded like a great hunt! And yes once again the old nerv`s played a vital roll in hunting! Congrats on the buck. Just to let you no about 10 yrs ago i also missed a buck twice my self? And on the third try nailed him! I could not believe it Once again congrats!

Great story and congrats. Sonds like your buck had a death wish. What do you attribute the first 2 shots to and where do you think you missed high of low?
