Default Ijimmy,s Pa buck

Got a decent one finaly . I had a long season so far . I spent about 10 days hunting Florida , a week in Georgia , all without seeing a deer ! I went to Pa and saw lots of deer , mostly bucks , and shot this 8 point 10 days into my hunt . I believe the Lord is teaching me patience , and persistence , two hard lessons . The reward is great and Im planing a spot on the wall . He gave me a perfect 10 yard shot , I had perfect shot placement , but still had to track a 1/2 mile , big blood trail . Ive had much worst shots go down within 50 yards , but as I said , learing my lessons . This was a great hunt to remember . The darton strikes again .

Congratulations on the buck. It looks like a beauty! What part of PA were you hunting?

Pa , I was in beaver county , section 2a . I heard they may have an unlimited week next year . The doe muzelload season must have taked a ton out as we did not see many does .

That sentiment is being repeated quite often in my neck of the woods this year as well. So far this season I have seen 4 does...and I have been out close to twenty days so far this year. I have seen 9 bucks though....

Congrats again.
