Anyone shoot a reflex??
#1
In the market for a new bow after season and I really like the feel of the reflex bows (lightweight, stabile, feel good) but I dont know much about them. Would appreciate any reviews, good and bad.
I know the most important thing about a bow is that it fits and feels good rather than the name on the limbs, but just looking for some input.

I'm no expert here and my Reflex is the only bow I've shot, but I'll give you my opinion.
First off, the string was installed upside-down. I'm a lefty so I guess maybe that confused the person who put it on.[&o]
Next thing is that no matter what I tried, the attached quiver always came loose to the point it would touch the bow on the bottom. The arrow rest was the cheapest thing they could attach. So, in two years I have replaced the string twice, replaced several different screws to different parts, and replaced the rest twice. Also, no matter what I have tried I cannot get the bow to shoot quiet. The local archery shop guy told me that the Reflex is a cheap and cheaply made bow. The use all of the most inexpensive parts and this all adds up to a noisy bow.
When I get the money together I am going to find myself another bow...
I would suggest shopping around at a place where you can actually shoot the bow. Listen to it compared to others. Who knows, maybe the Reflex you find will be better than mine....
GOOD LUCK!
