RE: Hunting in the rain

I'll hunt in rain if it's not a downpour . . . or windy. I bought a porta-roof a few years ago after heading out into a rain that the weatherman PROMISED was about to end. It didn't, and got heavier all day and I was too soaked to ever let it happen again. I shot a doe I needed last year (to secure my 2nd buck tag) in the rain. No blood trail, but I found her 45 yards away.
