I don't get to hunt as much as I would like to anymore but this Saturday morning, I saw this coming thru the backyard.

Pops they look like 2 different bucks? Notice the white is more predominant in the older buck around the nose. Man o Man, he is sure a beauty though! Good luck and great shooting this season on him

He's a beauty of a buck. I'm confused though, Did you shoot him and get the hunt on tape or did you "capture" him with your camera? Either way he's a beaut and deserves a congrats!

Katbones, that what I wasn't sure of. The pictures in velvet are from June 6th so I wasn't sure if that was just his coat but the buck in velvet does look younger.

adams, just captured him on camera. The wife was gone and I was making breakfast for my 1 & 4 year olds. These are screen grabs from the video I shot. It's pretty funny on the tape. My 1 year old son is just yelling deer deer!!! My daughter say, 'He's so big I thought he was a bear'. As much as I would have loved to be out there, I wouldn't trade that time with them ever.
