Hey everyone,
Just a quick question here, would you rather hunt heavy mast or when the mast didnt hit so good?

I prefer the heavy mast of acorns over any other.

Is it not harder to locate deer when mast hits heavy?

When the mast is not so good and just hits in spots it tends to concentrate deer and that's when I've had the most luck. Lots of mast tends to scatter the deer herd in my opinion. Now when there is very little or no mast at all like in my area this year that is another matter. I'm seeing deer standing in open fields eating grass morning, mid-day, and evening.
