Default 1st one of the year

today at 500pm. got permission to hunt a great spot, only 11 acres but surrounded by US govt property. the landowners actually BEGGED me to get some of the deer gone. The husband actually said "theyre all over the yard, i put a cushion on the rocking chair on the front porch, and if you want coffee i'm up by 7"

theyve had thousands of $$ worth of damage done by the deer , and they love venison. And, i love to hunt so we're ALL happy.

i shot this one out of my climber not 50 yds from thier back door, while the wife was unloading groceries from her car. she dropped in her tracks (A Lucky Miss, my dad called it)

she lay right on a logging road. the best part? when i walked to my Jeep to get my Knife that i forgot, the wife says " didja get one?" "yep" says i... to which she replied "just back the jeep right down there!" ZERO drag, gotta love it!

now i'm gonna settle down and go for the Big ol buck theyve been seeing .....
