Waddel does what he does because he absolutely loves it...Anyways this is what I gather from watching Roadtrips. He truley loves to be in the woods, his family and never hides his opinion about anything. I would rather watch his show more than any other....currently.

I contacted realtree about the bow sleeve. They said that all it is, is a sock. So I bought a pair of brown socks and cut the toe open and use that. It works great.

Buckwing

Buckwing makes a product for that purpose. But a sock should work just as well.

My son and I really enjoy watching Michael hunting big Whitetails. Even bought the DVD of last years Roadtrips. The dang boy always has it in his room. I think Michael shows the younger generation that it's cool to hunt! That's what the 17 year old says anyway. If he brings more young hunters into the sport...so much the better. Kudo's to Michael and Realtree.

He told my buddy it is just to keep his bow string from hiting his camo.

It is just a sock.

Thin socks like dress socks work the best.

I have 3 different sleaves.

1. I found at K-mart about 3 years ago for 2 bucks. It is made out of sock material but way thicker. It works great but is extremely hot this time of year.

2. I bought one from Calbelas and not sure who makes it but is is a long sleave with a half hand and thumb hole and it runs al the way to the elbo. This is a great sleave and I like it the best out of all three. It is thin so it is not hot in the early season.

3. I also have the Buckwing. It is okay and it would be good if that all I had.
