As to the original delima dont worry about it we all have to make a living.
Hopefully he will get some instruction and practice for next year when he fails to connect this year.;)

What could you have really done though. I think I might have said something but in that situation you can't force people to think and make ethical decisions. A tactful aproach (which I'm not very good at;)) might have been to slip a comment about how dedicate one must be to be proficient with a bow. In your situation you can't strong arm him. Maybe you could make up some bussiness like care with this web address on it so we can set him straight:D. Of all the proficient bowhunters I know 90% of them live for the sport. The other 10% are just looking to expand their hunting season but they are in conversion. When you have to get them close to make it count it just gets into your blood. This guy may be a slob hunter this fall but hopefully he'll practice throughout next summer and come to the woods next fall ready for the season.
