Congratulations, I promise you that you'll remember this animal for the rest of your natural life, and maybe even your unnatural life.

sorry about leaving the story out. its kinda a short one though. I had class that morning (SDSU) so i didnt get back home to set up my stand till about 3:30(2 hour drive) i had my stand set in the tree and was sitting in it at 4 p.m. I set up in a tree grove on the edge of a cornfield. The deer didnt start to show up till about 6. i watched two young does play around under my stand for about a half hour then i noticed this buck to the left just coming out of the cornfield. i drew back and waited for him to walk into the opening. when he lowered his head to graze i released the arrow and watched it hit him. he jumped and stood there for a minute and then just trotted off 30 yards and fell.

I was only in the stand for about two and a half hours when i shot him. i had came home on thursday thinking i would hunt thursday and all day friday, but instead it was a short hunt.
