2 bucks in one week what a opening season i am having this is great.i hope when i move to PA next year i get this much luck lol.got a spike horn very nice deer 7 inch spikes ,last light last night (saturday night) of coarse i hunt from the ground inside my blind to the left here they come 3 does about 18 yards. they kept looking behind them several times i thoght nothing about it at first than i said wait a minute they kept feeding and looking back sure enough here comes the buck he came out about 15 yards in front of me on the move i just went (BLAT) he hit the brakes,i was in full draw already cuz he had his mind on the does and he wasnt paying attention to me. i let go my arrow and thump lol.about 65 yards away there he lie i am so happy i have never had this great luck before lol.My freezer is ful as we speak so i am going to donate this meat on this deer to the local homeless and veterans home .i have a pick but i cant seem to get it on i could use some help thanx again .

If you already shot a nice Buck why would you shoot a "spike"?,
it was a trophy spike

i said my freezer was full lol,i never said i dont need the meat you know i have several people that could use it .i am not a trophy hunter like some guys on here i enjoy and love the sport of it as much as i do it for the venision also.

Way to go,I am glad you are getting out of Mass. and we are getting another hunter here in Pa. Hope you are not dissappointed when you move here. I think you said before your moving near sharon Pa. and lived in this state before. Depends how long ago it was you lived here ,your going to notice a big change. Alot less deer ,more posted property and a antler restriction. And a whole bunch of new crazy seasons and regs.

I'm glad to hear your having such a great season ,and it really doesn't matter what type of hunter you are .I've been hunting for a trophy the last 3 season's and have had no kill's because I've let a lot of deer walk because they don't fit this class .The other reason is that we were only allowed one tag a season now that this has changed and this season i have 2 tag's and can get more for other area's I'll take one for the freezer and then I'll hunt my trophy .But I agree that some hunters just don't have the luck of other's and it's nice to see the other hunter come on top for a change Congrat's to you Mass.

cardeer looks like its goingto be aroung the sunbury area now lol.i am looking for landscaping and farming around that area i may have found some nice homes there to i heard the deer herds there are pretty good? alot better than here in massachusetts where they are only 75,000 lol.thanx nubo for the replyand to all others.
