I was in my stand this morning and did a small amount of rattling!!!! And to my surprise I had a basket six walk up behind me. I was wondering if anyone else has started and had any luck as of today????

I'm just curious to know if it was a fluke or is the preseason rut on!!!!?

I've not been able to hunt due to Doctor's orders; until this week

Had a 4 point chasing two doe around the woods today acting like it was the middle of the rut. He was chasing and grunting all around my stand. I figured what the heck and did a little light rattle and a few grunts but know luck bringing anything else in. I think the 4 point just has not learned about the ladies yet.
