Default Great weekend (part 2)

Monday AM I'm in a stand at my buddies place. He has 25 acres for his
horses. It is a natural funnel for the deer because of a creek bottom at
the back. I have about 10 acres he lets me hunt. I saw 12 deer in about 2
hours, including another 7 pointer that offered me a perfect 15 yard shot.
Illinois lets you shoot all the deer you want, but only 2 bucks. So I let
him pass. Half hour later 2 does and 2 yearlings come by and when the
biggest doe hit my shooting lane I did the mouth blaaap to stop her.
Another 20 yard shot and another double lung. So far a great year. Now I
wait for a wall hanger. I hadn't hunt deer in 3 years. I just retired from
the Air Force so now I have a lot of time to hunt.

Another beautiful shot. I hope you get a shot at your wall hanger now. What is that in your hand? It looks a lot like my firestorm
