Default My first buck with a bow

During the first week of October, I, my wife and son were hunting on Manitoulin Island. I had recently acquired a 2004 Bowtech Patriot. We were seeing quite a few does but only only one or two bucks. They were quite nervous due to the increased presence of coyotes and bears so we had very little luck in getting good shots. It was the final day of the hunt and a major storm was moving in. This small buck came into my stand and I was able to get a good shot in on him. He moved off and I could hear him fall. He was abit on the small side but He is my first deer taken with a bow so I am not arguing. I have learned much from this forum and I am very glad I got a Bowtech.

Hi Adams and thanks! Manitoulin Island is on Lake Huron on the Ontario side. It is the largest freshwater Island in the world and has a huge deer population
