I was in PA last week and I have to say that I am jealous!! That is some beautiful land out there. I may have almost killed a few of you because I was staring at the mountains more than the road - sorry!

It is beautiful,Untill you get the land tax bill each year then the south looks better all the time. The 2 acres next to me sold for 68,000 ,the guy built a big home and his property taxes are 7200.00 a year. The mountain proerty is a bit cheaper ,but you will need a mountain goat to get around.Kinda funny you need a rope to get up the mountain ,but just lay down and roll on the trip back down

I agree 27. I drive I80 twice a year to visit the inlaws in Lewisburg. Those hills really look impressive. Almost makes me want to take up the mother-in-laws offer to move out there. Almost.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

It is beautiful up there. That's why I've been trying to get back up there the last 2 years. Sun and fun at the beach only goes so far. The woods of PA is where I belong.

Sometimes I think folks fail to appreciate the beauty that is all around them..every day...even in the &quot;brown/gray&quot; landscape that is so typical during this time of year.

I will post some pictures that I took this weekend shortly. Nothing spectacular...just some clear-cutting that is being done at the local gamelands....but it sure does liven up the forum...

I love PA. Even though I am in NJ now it is only temporary to say the least. My wife and I are planning on moving to the Poconos area this summer. I couldn't wait to leave Fl when I was down there for four years. I am glad to be up north now even though I do miss the fishing in FL Especially when the tarpon start running in May in Boca Grande pass. We are still looking and hope to be a PAer soon.

I love PA. too. When our trees are in full color in the fall and archery season is upon us, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be.
