I have heard of people packing their hunting clothing in with pine tree needles but since I dont have access to any of those I was wondering if walnuts would work? There are tons of walnut trees near my house and they have a pretty strong sent... Thoughts? Comments???

I've learned in my 43 yrs on this earth that deer like what your area has to offer. Meaning, if there's apple orchards in your area then apples is a food and cover scent. If (which I'm not sure they eat walnuts), but use the walnuts as a cover scent.

Here in Arkansas I use what they call an Earth scent as well a scent lok suit, and I've not been winded since using the two.

Just watch out. I know that walnut juice is used to dye the metal on the trap from my friend that traps a lot. Dont want any blackened camo! Good Luck
