I have a question, but to start things off, my friend found a HUGE nontypical skull on his property about three years ago. I wish I had a picture. It is a truthfully huge deer. All the tines point up, most of them are forked. It is a twelve point main frame. The spread is about 22''. He asked me whether he could shoot a buck with a big body but bad genetics(as in nothing for antlers), and get this huge rack mounted with that bucks head and neck. Is this possible?

Yes, its very possible. Simply cut the horns off at the skull plate. Then, you can use any deers hide and head to do the mount. All you need is the horns, preferably connected with the skull plate.
