Default Fog

I was just wondering if heavy morning fog affects deer movement. I went out Monday morning and heard deer moving all morning before light but as soon as the fog started appearing nothing was moving. There was a frost on the ground and when the temps. rose some it started burning off of the leaves and sounded like a light rain falling in the woods, maybe this has an affect on movement?? Im not sure, i've always liked morning hunts but maybe its too early in the year? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

I've noticed that very heavy fog seems to affect deer movement -- at least around here!

(Maybe since they don't have flashlights, it's too hard for them to see without running into things???)

I stalked up to 7 does in heavy fog from about 150yards to around 20 yards, they were all playing between powerlines. The fog did not seem to affect them at all.
