Here are pics of the Turkey I got with my Bow..... A Jake .... This was the 1st Turkey that I have ever taken and I thought I was hooked on Fall Turkey Bowhunting before[8D] Cant wait to try for my next Fall Bow Turkey.... But I am Leaveing for Pike And Brown Counties Illinois Tuesday AM for 4 days of Bowhunting Whitetail Bucks so the Turkey BowHunting will have to wait till I get back

Thanks Folks............... And Mitch it isnt that far for you to Vermillion County............ Come on Down and Turkey Hunt with me anytime...... My Hubby wont do it ........ it's to time consumeing with a high failure rate for him to want any part of it....... Although he did go Deer hunting from my stand the other evening and had a turkey at 26 yards from my stand and had the perfect shot to shoot it but couldnt shoot it CAUSE HE DIDNT BUY A TURKEY TAG[:@] He says the minute he buys a turkey tag he will never see one the rest of the season[8D]......... I tell him and tell him buy a tag. but its gotten to like beating my head against the wall telling him ... so I give up telling him anymore. That just means more turkeys for me
Now I am off to buck hunt Pike and Brown Counties Tommorrow

Nice turkey Lady. I just wish that I could talk my wife into doing this crazy sport with me.. It is scary because she is a better shot than me with a rifle. I think that if she spent any time on here and read some of yer stories I bet we could bring her around. She just has too much on her mind right now with her mother. Well anyway way to go and I hope you stick a huge Pike County Monster on yer trip..........

You might want to Try getting her to attend a women in the Outdoors Class or 2, They are great, I am an instructor for the Women in the Outdoors Whitetail Deer Bowhunting Class here Locally, and I had a lot of women sign up for the class that had never deer hunted but wanted to feel it out and learn about it to see if it was for them.... heck I even had a grandmother in her 60,s attend whom said at the finish of the course she was gonna go buy her own bow so she could learn to bowhunt, said she had been shooting her grandsons bow but now wanted her own bow to hunt with.
