Still no luck here in Dodge Co
There is still no visible movement where i hunt in Dodge County Wi, the bad thing is there is a lot of corn up still. Not many rubs or scrapes yet either. Took some major target practice today with my new string and peepsight. I must have shot that thing 70 times. Got it set now and killed my paper deer many times...lol. If anyone else out there is hunting close let me know whats going on around you. Bear

RE: Still no luck here in Dodge Co
I shot a decent 9 point yesterday, but he DID have a smaller buck with him. The buck I killed weighed in at 180 lbs. dressed, but his neck was huge. I would say that this week with the cold front coming in is going to be an awesome time for rattling as I don't think the doe are quite ready yet, but the bucks are getting antsy. I've noticed scraping and increased rubbing activity in the last week here in Sauk Co., so I would venture to guess that the next two weeks will be great provided it gets as cool as they say and STAYS that way. Good luck fellas.
