I always hang it on a screw-in bow hanger. It's right there if I need it. However, I prefer to keep my hands free to use binoculars, use grunt or bleat calls, reaching for my camera to take pictures, etc., etc., etc.

I just let it rest on the rail on my Summit Viper.

I always hang my bow just so I can move around without worrying about my arrow falling off the rest and crashing too the ground. I guess it is personal preference and I prefer to hang mine. Heck if I held on to it all the time what would happen when I fell asleep and dropped it. LOL jk. Good Luck and I hope everyone gets the one they are looking for. AIM TRUE

I hang mine on a Realtree 3 piece EZ Hanger. I screw it in just over my left shoulder and bend it around to where it hangs just in front of me. I've been doing this for 2 years and have not even come close to missing a shot opportunity or being busted, and believe it or not I don't wear ASAT. [8D]

If I'm hunting from the ground I have my bow in hand as much as possible. When I'm in my stand I'll lay it across the shooting rails on my stand.
