Uses for broken arrows
 

Anybody got any tips or usefull ideas for broken arrow. I got one im waiting to try. I took 4 cracked carbons and sawed them each up into 4 pieces about 7" long. I put them in a black sock and tied it shut. Homemade rattling bag that sounds just as good as the ones in the store. And it finally gave me a use for some of the broken arrows i have. This is my first post here, been reading for a long time and finally joined. My season starts in less than 12 hours and I got the day off work. Good luck to everyone whos seasons start tomorrow and saturday.

You can slide an arrow with out an insert over your truck antenna if your country enough to sport it:)

I have also used a broken arrow, the fletched end cut it to length and slid it over an ink pen and glued it in place.

Thats about all I have done with them.

You can use the broken arrow for a scent stick as well.If the nock end is good then take a gun cleaning swab,saturate it with your favourite scent,stick it in the nock and place accordinly:)

I use mine to mark yardages when practicing and pound them in the ground so i can move my 3-d to different locations, works pretty good too.

i collect aluminium arrows from the 3-d ranges when i go and then make wind chimes out of them

I also like to grind them up and sprinkle them on my cheerios in the morning, Delicious!!!;)

Hmmm - a rattle bag you say ? I'll have to bust a few more before I do that.

I like buckeye's pen idea .... gonna try that right now.

Add different woods, corn cobs or the like to make strikers for turkey calls ie, slate and glass friction calls.

Decorate your Christmas tree. Don't laugh, I add arrows to my tree every year and get very nice compliments.
