Default PA opener!!

I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything yet about the PA opener this weekend. Anyone else going out Saturday?

Normally I go to the PA mountains to hunt (3b), however, I will need to stay close to home (5c) as my wife and I are expecting our 2nd child very shortly. Hopefully, I'll make it to the mountains for the rifle opener.

I am sitting here chewing my fingernails down to the quick waiting for Saturday.

Gear is packed, bow is tuned, stands are set, commmmmmmon Saturday!

Just last week I saw I buck I haven't seen before. A HUGE 8 pointer. Biggest deer I have ever seen in person. While not having gobs of points, this boy was WIIIIIDE, with a body to match.

Ready and ever so patiently waiting for 4am Saturday.....then shower, and dress in my long under....then drive 30 minutes to spot.....then dress in scent-free gear and hike all of 100 yards and climb tree....wait for daylight....shoot big buck or take a doe for the freezer!

The bow is all set, washing my hunting clothes tonight, 1 more quick scout for acorns on one of the farms some other evening this week and I'll be able to figure where I am headed for saturday.
