Hello Bill (Dr. Stalker) Yes, i am hunting over in Shabbona this year on the public park. Next year i plan to go to the private farms, since i just re-started bowhunting again this year.
Yes, this county has some good opportunities, we should keep in touch??

Sounds good Katbones.A hunting and fishing bud of mine lives there next door to you in sycamore.He hunt's the newly opened public grounds up in Kirkland.Thing is though they found CWD there last year and sharpshooters supposedly culled 200 or better deer.He is still going to hunt there,opening day.That area is loaeded with whitetails.Good luck Katbones.Maybe a few of us from the area could hook up and hunt shabona,lowden,castle rock,or silver springs sometime.They are all good spots with nice deer.Only thing is the more pressure some of these get(as you may know)the more educated they become and the bucks may go nocturnal.Sorry I was so long winded,I'm getting tired.Well talk again.Later.,Bill D>

The things I go through for this sport. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I will say that after 6 weeks of the practicing, scentproofing, washing, showering, scouting, hunting, bugbiting, freezing, walking, climbing, no sleeping, spotting, dragging, field dressing, skinning, butchering, etc, etc, etc........I definitly need a rest. But I would start all over in a couple of weeks if it were possible.
