Has anyone used one of these?Do they work good? thanks in advance

I have a 500 event trail timer that I bought about 4 months ago. It's a nice unit but overkill you'd probably be fine with 125 event moniter.

It can really save you some time and frusteration. I have one stand that has a couple of heavily used runs in the vicinity. I set up the timer on the runs and found out that 95% of the deer activity on these runs is in the evenings. Knowing this I turn my efforts to hunt that particular stand in the evenings. I have other that produce well in the morning and that's where I concentrate my morning efforts.

You can get basically the same info from a game cam and with pics to boot but I like the idea if infared sensor to capture movements without alerting game. I'm planning to take it with me this weekend to scout/hunt up at my hunting camp. When I find the right stand location I'll set it up and let it run for a week. Hopefully I'll be able to dial in on deer movements to maximize my time in stand.

Bottom line is it's a great product and a useful scouting tool.

I can find the 500 and a 5 event timer but no 125 event. where can a person find the 125?

But I could have sworn that trail time made one as well. If I had a choice between a 5 event and a 500 event I'd pay the extra for the 500 event timer. the best price I've found (and bought mine from) was whitcombs scents
