That's not the case with the "green soap". Triclosan is in some commercial scent killers, but I noticed that it's not a listed ingredient in the Hunter's Specialties green liquid soap. What the specific chemical in the soap that kills the remaining bacteria is, I don't know. All I know is that based on my experiences, and the experiences of others, the consensus is that it works well. I had the triclosan thing explained to me last year and took it on faith. After reading the HS soap ingredients, it doesn't look like it's in there.

Good luck with it and let us know how you make out. Don't be afraid to use alot either! That's half the point, that its cheap enough to spray everything thoroughly.

I'll double check the stuff I'm using, but I had read an article about scent killer and it referred to Triclosan as a potentially hazardous chemical. This made me check the label on the green soap I was using and realize that I may not have been using what I thought I was. I'll check again.......

If Triclosan is hazardous then it only became so recently .
You'll find it in a large number of deodorant soaps and bodywashes , it's been in use for decades . It's use as an antibacterial agent is long and has not been connected to harmful effects that I've heard of .

I just did a google search on triclosan. WOW, there is a lot of information about it and it seems most articles say that it should not be used everyday. Here's 1 link from 1998.

MY BAD! I stand corrected........[:@]

In my label reading haste I only read the inactive ingredients. Right above these is listed the active ingredient.......Triclosan.

So I was right, wronged myself, then righted it again. Hey, all I know is that it works.
