Hello all,I have a soy bean feild behind my house that i am going to hunt and i was wondering how should I hunt it?Should I hunt the edge of the feild or should I sit in the woods a little bit? thanks in advance.

well what i would do is set up a stand on the main trail going into the field about 30 yards in the woods from the bean field.

i live in central but hunt in schyuler and greene counties in the western part.

never heard of those counties but i've never been to the western part of illinois[8D]

That's exactly what I would do. I have several visiting my fields as well. I see many trails leading up to the field and lots of feces from the deer just inside the woods at various "holes" leading into the thickets.
