What you dont want to see.

Dont know about you guys but with 2 weeks left before the season opens here in TX.
I dont want to see this sort of thing at my feeder.

25 pics taken and every one of them hogs.
I think it is going to be a lean deer season for me untill we can get rid of these hogs.
From the looks of it we have atleast 3 or 4 different mobs of them running around down on the lease.
I hunted them Monday night and right on que at 9pm they came in from behind my stand the old sow that leads the pack was directly under my stand she must have caught wind of the No Stinking bugs spray I had on and she bolted outa there taking the group with her.
I think I am gonna have to set up a ground blind 20 yds from the feeder on the opposite side to my stand seeing they are coming in from behind and directly under my stand.

Kind of tells a few fellas who seem to think that scent don't seem to matter. If a hog is going to wind you, a deer sure the heck would. I would never use bug spray to deer hunt. I have also cut a scouting trip very short a month ago. It had been very wet, more skeeters than I have ever saw. I hightaild it right back out of there. Two layers of clothes, gloves, and a good head covering usually keeps them off me on the stand.

I believe I can help you with that little problem. I love to shoot hogs, and need to kill something with my new BowTech VFT Patriot Dually. We shoot them at night on a friends lease, shotguns/slugs and rifles. Been wanting to get near some while there is still some light out. But they have a night time feeding habit down there. A bow kill would be more fun.
