Default suprise from the new wife

I came home from work Sunday morning and sitting in the middle of the living room was a new "Block" a new hat and a mug.
I told my wife a couple of weeks ago that if she needed some gift ideas for the holidays that I needed a new target. My old cotton sack was just not cutting the mustard any more. She does not like the fact that hunting season takes me away from home for days at a time but she still supports my hobby! What a great wife!

Same here. But she understands it's something that I've been doing since long before she and I got together.

my wife just likes shopping with me when i go for hunting.. she says i look like a kid in a candy store... she laughes at me most of the time. she loves bass pro-shops because of teh fish in there... we always spend a little bit of time around that area...

nice surprise, i say if you cant talk em into going hunting with you then get em interested in SHOPPING with you.. you might have to spend a little time faking it while shopping with her but its WELL worth it to see them getting excited about things on sale for YOUR STUFF!

I can say I'm lucky too as my wife understand my hunting and dosn't interfere but she dosn't bring me home hunting stuff. Are there any tricks I could use to open up my wifes pocketbook?

I've always suspected that my wife was seeing someone else. I just didn't know she was married to him.

I took her birthday off from work and we went to a mall about 2 hours away (appleton). I got to shop at sheels and then we walked the entire mall for her. We both had a good time and will probably be doing it again next year. She won't hunt but she LOVES to shop.

You are just lucky you got to her first. Women like that are hard to find. Heck, I feel fortunate if mine talks to me before Christmas...as I am usually in the doghouse for weeks after archery ends.

Ha, ha. Sounds like my wife a year after we married. She could care less about archery or hunting but I came home one day and found a new strap-on tree stand, climbing rope and spikes, and a roll-up 30 yrd lanyard to pull up my bow. I guess she was paying attention to what I was looking at in Cabella's, LOL.

Your a lucky man to have a wife like that! My X-wife still doesn't understand my hunting passion! Jealously!

Hey Wihunter
Sheels is a great store! I was at a hotel accross the street for 4 days and I went to scheels everyday! Pretty cool store!
