About the fair asking price... Since it is a lousy shooter, I'd say somewhere between $50 and $75 should do it. Email me and I'd be happy to take it off your hands :D

you have done well . i love my mathews f/x. i looked around when my old browning top limb split and i could not find a new or used one. the warranty really clinched it for me and other mathews owner i knew personally were all very happy with their bows. i don't understand why you say you went to the dark side???
I saw a post a while back on another board calling Mathews "the dark side" . It's a Star Wars reference, wherein Mathews is like the dark side of the force - seductive, powerful, and deadly... once you go down the path, there is no hope for you any longer.

I did - nice bows too, but didn't have the same feel as the Icon. They make good stuff!

Love my FX also. It's only two years old , but I'm hinting around to the wife about upgrading to the Outback.:)

I might be pushing my luck.:D

A Bushmaster? As in the .223 variety? Hehehehe... now that would definitely be the dark side. I can see myself telling the PGC officer that working the bolt and letting it slam forward into battery is much like releasing the bow. Think he'll buy that? I didn't think so either. [8D]

More on the topic side... I've not tried the new Mathews, as the one I bought in 1998 is still gittin' er done. :):D;)

. I tried them all (outback, LX, Legacy, etc), and the Icon was the one I "connected" with - 29", 60 lbs. I don't think I've felt this way since I met my wife... this could be the real thing.
Welcome my brother! Icon shooter here as well. It has the smoothest draw force for a bow with that kind of speed that I've ever felt.
Love it more every time I shoot it!

You'll love the Mathews, my brother got his 3 years ago (name is 'Mary'). He loves it, and it's worked out well for him (3 for 3).

Your brothers name is Mary?[&:];)

I would have thought you'd gone with a Martin. From those Ads that looks like a real nice???? Darn, I can't quite remember what the ads looked like. Maybe someone can refresh that post.

Congrads, My neighbor loves his Mathews.
