Hi guy's and gal's am Rich Baker of Troutdale Oregon . I have been bowhunting for over 20 years and I am new to this forum stuff I just would like to share a picture of this couger I shot , on a spot and stalk hunt. It was shot with my Mathews bow on 8-28-04 green score is over 16" and the world record is 16 1/6 so I am bitting my nails until it is official. this cat was not shot from a pack of hound or anything like that I just saw him and moved into position and shot. thankfully the arrow hit the mark. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...R1-032-14A.jpg Cheers Rich

You must have a substantial bag of rocks to do that! Everyone in the northeast is scared to go to their stands in the dark because we heard there may be a cougar or two around. How do you find those big cats, as far as hospitality? Are they a friendly bunch? I would be more scared of YOU than the cat. JEESH, you snuck up on that thing? Good goin'!

Wow! Nice cat! Congrats!
What's holding up the cat's head in the pic? Is it frozen or rigor mortis or what?

Just kidding. Great cat and good job hunting. I could never shoot one by using a pack of dogs. Welcome to the board!

Man, now that's an impressive feline! I'm certain it was an exciting hunt as well. What was the distance when you released the arrow... was the cat aware you were present? Good job!
