eliminating my peep sight
Does anyone here shoot a No-Peep peepsight eliminater? Can you show a picture of it attached to your bow? Do you still use your front pin sights or does it take the place of those too? Is it as accurate and consistant as a peep?
I would like to eliminate my peep eventually to improve low light shooting and also the tube style peep I have sucks 12 to 18 ft/sec from my arrow speed. |

Use a Red Dot Scope and love it.

RE: eliminating my peep sight
I have a No-Peep on my setup. I'll upload a picture when I get home from work unless someone else posts one first. You still use your sight pins the same way as you would before. The No-Peep is just an alignment device. The first difference you'll notice is that you're not looking through that tiny hole anymore. You can setup the No-Peep so that you look to one side of the bow string or the other. The No-Peep is in your peripheral vision when you're looking at your sights so you still have the visual reference even if you're concentrating on aiming your pin. I tried shooting without a peep but added the No-Peep a couple weeks later. It's shown me some inconsistancies I have with my grip and my tendancy to occasionally torque the bow.

Here's the picture that I was going to post. ;) You can see how close the No-Peep is to my sight light but so far I've not had a problem with not enough light getting into the No-Peep.
