Anyone know of a poor mans way of hunting coyotes instead of buying those expensive electronic calls? I want to get them in close for a bow shot.

Use hand or mouth operated calls ,
they work as well or better .

bigboyz the best way is to get a rabbit from the store and go to a open field and get 2 ropes one about 3 ft long and the other about 80 yards long. What you do is tie up the rabbits back feet and stick a stake in the ground and tie it to the stake then tie the 80 yard rope to his front legs hide behind a blind and pull the string and the rabbit will call them right in. I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BUT I THINK IT WOULD WORK GREAT. But i wouldnt do it.

Motown, most of the hunters on here are very ethical, and torturing animals is not ethical. We like quick painless deaths not slow painful ones.
